We know it can be frustrating when you call our help line for a quick quote on cleaning your home, only to be told you need to schedule a free in-home cost assessment. No two homes share the same cleaning challenges. So, our detailed estimate of service takes into consideration a number of different factors when determining the cost of cleaning your home.
The Size of Your Home
How many rooms are there to clean? Obviously, the cost of cleaning a one-bedroom condo will differ from a three-bedroom semi-detached. We may need to send a team rather than one cleaning professional or spend more time getting the job done.
The Number of Occupants
Someone who lives alone will make less of a mess than a family of 4. It’s just math. Kids also seem to create more mess. Both are factors that need to be considered in our estimate of service.
The Number of Bathrooms
Much like occupants, the number of bathrooms will increase the time and/or manpower needed to get the job done. Cleaning any bathroom is time-consuming and the room that requires the most elbow grease.
The Number of Pets
Our furry friends are also a factor to be considered. It’s surprising how much their little paws can track in sand, dirt and debris. Not to mention the fur so many leave behind. This may require additional attention to floors and upholstery during our cleaning.
Any Personal Requests
The most important reason for our in-person estimate is the communication aspect; we walk around your home with you to fully understand your cleaning needs. Perhaps one room is harder to keep clean than another, or clean floors are your main concern.
How Long Will It Take?
MOLLY MAID appreciates how busy you are, so we aim to spend the least amount of time possible at your home. An average home assessment is usually between 15–25 minutes. However, this can vary depending on the size of your home and your specific cleaning needs.
At the end of the visit, we will provide you with an estimated price range based on the information you have provided about your individual cleaning requirements.
