This is truly the most disorganized company I've ever encountered. I used their weekly cleaning service as it was covered through icbc. I had to cancel due to lack of professionalism.

Last time they didn't show up on their scheduled weekly cleaning (same day every week). I waited around all day trying to contact them, and waiting for them to show up. No one answers the phone or replies to emails. I heard back from them 2 days later with no apology given. I was told "I can see how that would be frustrating, but I didn't know the cleaner had an appointment". Completely unacceptable and unprofessional response from the owner.

Issues do arise in all businesses but its how these issues are handled that makes the difference. The owner should take responsibility as its his business and reflects very poorly on him when there are no shows and other issues. Shame on this business for not caring about their clients, some of which are disabled and elderly.

I found that most of the cleaners were also miserable and they left a bag of garbage on my carpeted stairs in the last clean. Garbage should obviously be thrown in the garbage, not left on the carpet as a surprise for the owner. You would think a cleaning company would know that.

I have since moved on to another cleaning company which is much better. I would not recommend molly maid Kelowna under any circumstances. They are unprofessional, don't show up on time, sometimes don't show up at all, and leave garbage in places it should not be.

I have seen some other reviews where the company replies and is trying to discredit the bad reviews/reviewer below. I would like to make sure everyone is aware that I have proof to back up everything I have said in this review and it is 100% the factual truth. I do not want to see people who truly need assistance having to deal with this company. That's why I thought it important to write this review for others that may be thinking to use molly maid Kelowna. Beware that you will waste your time trying to contact them & waste your time waiting around for late arrivals or no shows.

***Edit: they are now under new management and they reached out to me to give them a try. I was extremely hesitant. However I can say this new team is amazing, and it's due to the owner. He often accompanies the cleaners to ensure quality control. He is also readily available if you need to contact him for any reason and replies promptly. The cleaning is really done well. I was very impressed. I wanted to wait some time to make sure this will be good throughout a period of time. It's been months and I'm very happy with the new owner and team at molly maid.
