Stickers be Gone's featured image

Whether they are on your new bowls, plates, your walls or windows, stickers can be a pesky item to remove. The professional cleaning experts at MOLLY MAID have you covered! Here’s a guide to help you remove even the toughest stickers.

Dishes: First, try to peel off as much of the sticker as possible. If you are unable to peel it off, use a hairdryer on the hot setting, to warm up the sticker. Next, use a drop of olive oil, a clean microfibre cloth and a little bit of elbow grease to rub off the sticker. Wash the dish thoroughly with soap and water.

Walls: If your kids have decorated their bedroom walls with stickers, don’t panic! Dip a small paint brush into a bowl of white vinegar and generously coat the sticker. Let the vinegar set for five minutes then wipe off the access vinegar with a clean microfibre cloth. Try and peel the sticker off the wall. If you are still having issues, repeat the process.

Windows: If you still have remnants of Halloween stickers on your windows, not to worry; this tip will help remove them with ease. Use a blow dryer on the highest setting and blow-dry the sticker for one to two minutes, then peel the sticker off with your fingers. If you’re still having a bit of trouble, add some olive oil to the sticker to help you slide it off.
